Waltz World Record at VCM
Experience a unique dance event before the Vienna City Marathon that puts music, movement, and community at the forefront – the world's largest waltz is on its way! The famous “Donauwalzer” by Johann Strauss, performed by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, sets the rhythm in three-quarter time. Our goal is to unite 2025 dancing couples and set a new world record on the Reichsbrücke. Whether as a couple, solo, or in a group – spin, smile, and enjoy this extraordinary moment, which also pays tribute to Johann Strauss on the occasion of his 200th birthday.
When: Sunday, April 6, 08.35 a.m.
Where: Starting area of the Vienna City Marathon
